December is flying by , as it always does, and it is hard to believe that next week is Christmas. We moved apartments today and are in a much nicer apartment in a new neighbourhood. While L did some last minute packing the kiddos and I went to pick out our tree and have it ready to throw in the moving van. The thought of hauling it 8 stops on the S Bahn wasn't that appealing. The move took approximately 90 minutes -the advantages of having very little- and as soon as we arrived the tree went up and shortly after that the kiddos made a ginger bread house- so we feel that although we got a late start we are all caught up on our holiday cheer.
It's been cold and wintery already in Maine and it's Christmas and I think we've all been feeling a bit homesick in our own ways. Here it's chilly and foggy and the one day that it snowed we later learned the snow was actually frozen steam from the factories. Oh well, snow is snow. But last week we went to another Christmas market and celebrated B's birthday and this week each kiddo has a Christmas party at school which will fun.
